Question by BabyDolll128: can you mix cherry furniture with white furniture or will it look yucky?
I have a cherry sleigh bed that I want to keep but I bought a cottage and i wanted to keep the cottage theme with the white’s can i mix in white furniture without it looking yucky?

Sure, white is perhaps the most universal of all colors, and cherry wood is depending on the finish used pretty classy. The two will mix well.

   I am not a matchy matchy person, so my response would be GO FOT IT! I think you should create your home to be a space that pleases YOU… If you love it, do not worry about the *rules*.

   your bed room should not look like the rest of the home so accent your bed room with white’s and give your self time to find your feel, it will come and it will look wonderful. good luck and congratulations on your new home.

   Absolutely, you do not want your room to look like you walked into rooms to go and said ‘I’ll take it all’ as nice as those rooms look, having furniture that is the same tone looks like you bought the set without putting much thought into it. Finding ways to incorporate mismatched furniture looks creative and thoughtful.
