Colours for black furnishings, light floor?

Hi,
Looking at doing a room soon. It doesn’t get much light through the windows but I really like black furniture with birch/oak flooring. 1 wall has a computer desk, the others are wardrobe, bed e.t.c, but a lot of space still around the computer desk.

I was thinking a light grey on the computer desk wall and the wardrobe wall, and a light blue on the others, with white on the ceiling. The window wall will be blue.

I was also having some black floating shelves, but how about white? Black floor furnishings, white wall furnishings?

My main thing is the wall colours. Just wondered what you thought of the grey/lt.blue/black/birch idea and if you have any other suggestions.
Remember it is a bedroom, but also a home office/gaming room.

I’m thinking a light blue and gray with black will be bland. If you are doing a light oak floor, a buttercup yellow is nice with black and adds some light. One idea would be to do three walls a very light cream/off white then sponge paint the buttercup yellow on, then do the window wall in just the yellow. I’m posting a link to give you an idea of the shade I am thinking of even though I could only find the shade on a picture of a mixer LOL.
