So it was me in my house and everyone was gone. Everyone. The roads were empty, too. So, I get in my car and drive to my neighborhood clubhouse and see if anyone is in the basement. No one is there. TVs were on, computers were working, but there was nobody around.

It was really humid outside, like it had just rained. The sky was bright orange-red and the clouds were white and puffy. So, I got in my car and left for my old Jr. High where I used to go to school before I went to high school. People were inside, but they were all frantic and scattered, and they were all hauling furniture and appliances to the principle’s office. I went inside the office and found a hole in the ground where a cave had been dug under the foundation. I went to check it out, and when I came back out, nobody was there anymore. I had known all along that a comet was on its way to impact with Earth. I went outside and saw bright shooting stars falling in all directions and then a bright flash. Then I woke up.
My mom was nowhere to be found either. That REALLY creeped me out. I had watched “Deep Impact” the night before, that probably had something to do with it… : )
