Question by Stephanie: Doen anyone know where to donate office furniture in the Chicago area?
Our office is moving this Friday and all of the furniture is going to be trashed unless we can find an organization to pick it up (some items we have: file cabinets/tables/desks). We already tried Goodwill and they said no.

The Salvation Army accepts furniture, according to its Web site, and will even provide pickup service. Give them a call to be sure.
