Question by Alice: What makes a small room look bigger? Black or white furniture?
My room is lavender (light purple) and I have a full size bed, a floor lamp, and a wall mirror with a black frame and that’s pretty much it. Tomorrow my mom and I are going to ikea they’re having a sale, and I was thinking to get a black bed frame and white nightstands. Or should I just stick with one color?

White furniture makes the room look bigger. Lighter colors = bigger looking room.

Don’t buy a different colored bed and nightstand. It would defeat the point of getting new furniture and make it look like you just threw some old stuff together.
